Friends Friday Film, “Minari”

In conjunction with the Flinn Gallery’s show Biophilia, Greenwich Library is screening this moving semi-autobiographical drama about a South Korean family moving to rural 1980s Arkansas in search of the American Dream. Nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Steven Yeun), and Best Original Screenplay, the film scored a Best Supporting Actress award for Youn Yuh-jung as the grandma who arrives to remind the family of their roots and resilience. English and Korean with subtitles. 2h. Rated PG-13.
