Japanese artist Akinori Matsumoto returns with a site-specific multi-dimensional sound and visual art installation. Featuring handmade ‘sound objects’ composed of bamboo, wood, paper and metal that create a magical environment of motion, shadow play and sensory delight. Matsumoto has exhibited extensively across Asia in festivals, galleries and museums, and is the recipient of numerous grants and awards. He previously exhibited at the Flinn in 2015.
